We encourage community leaders and organisations to host their own screening of The Baulkham Hills African Ladies Troupe. You can hold a screening at any venue in Australia, at the time and date of your choosing. Fill out our enquiry form and someone will be in touch.
“This film inspires in two important ways – art is at its best when it allows catharsis through storytelling and a nation is at its best when it provides a refuge for humanity to heal and flourish”. Dr George Miller – Director of Mad Max: Fury Road
It is easy to host your own screening and there are two options available:
COMMUNITY SCREENINGS:
You or your organisation can purchase a licence fee to screen the film. The fees are:
* $350 for less than 100 people
* $450 to screen the film to 100+ people or
* $750 for a Multiple Screening Pack for up to 5 public screenings.
If you wish to, you can sell tickets to see the film with you or your organisation keeping all funds raised from ticket sales. It is your responsibility to book an appropriate venue and pay venue hire and any other associated costs. You will be required to sign a simple licence agreement.
You will receive a screening pack, which includes:
• 1 x DVD or drive with an 81-minute version of The Baulkham Hills African Ladies Troupe
• A Discussion Guide for a post-film Q&A
• Digital images and artwork for invites, EDMs and fliers
• Video trailer link to promote the film on social media
There is the opportunity to invite a member of the film team or a moderator to facilitate a panel discussion following a screening. This will incur attendance fee, travel and accommodation costs.

CINEMA SCREENINGS
Through our Cinema on Demand partner Fan Force, you are able to screen the film at any cinema across Australia and the time of your choosing.
Cinema on Demand screenings rely on you, the host, to promote the screening to your networks. Your guests buy a ticket but are charged only when the event is confirmed. If the event reaches the critical mass required [about 50 – 60% full] the event goes ahead and you will receive a percentage of ticket sales. If the numbers required for the event are not reached, you can cancel or try again later but no one loses any money.
You will receive a Host Kit which includes a guide to promoting your event, digital marketing materials and social media support across FB, Twitter & Instagram.
It’d be great if you could have a screening in Canberra
Hi Laura
This is a bee in my bonnet right now. I am contacting some non-for-profit organisations in ACT to help organise a screening and also do some fundraising to get one or all of the ladies to come for a panel discussion. I have been in touch with Ros and Reflex.
Were you also thinking of organising a screening? May be we can collaborate. Email me back at sarwatmaq@gmail.com
Ciao
Is there anywhere we can see it in Canberra or details about hosting a special event/ fundraiser.
Thank you.
Debbie Kensey

Thank you for the opportunity to see and hear the ladies share their stories.
Thank you for kind words. The film will be showing over the next few weeks. Please invite family and friends and help us spread our message. Thanks again for your message
It would be wonderful to have a screening in the Newcastle area.
